Zeus Street Greek | Windsor Store Opening Event
From the moment I was gifted a delicious pita wrap on arrival to photograph the opening of Zeus Street Greek’s new store at Windsor, I knew this event was going to be a good one.
Set to a background of live traditional Greek music, the vibe was one of celebration and anticipation as the team opened the doors for the first time to the public. Within minutes of opening, the restaurant was full of customers and the smells coming from the kitchen were insanely good.
I really love photographing events like this, where there is so much happening all at once.
The Brief
My job on the day was to capture all the details, big and small, that happen during a restaurant opening. This included the overall fun vibe of the day, some lovely images of the store before opening, customers enjoying the space and the food, customer service and food preparation - all while keeping the Zeus Street Greek branding at the forefront.
The Challenges
There weren’t too many challenges on this event aside from wanting to eat everything. I went with a fly on the wall approach and was mindful of not getting in the way of customers.
The Outcome
In two hours of coverage I was able to provide my lovely client with a full set of 157 edited images that captured a fun, vibrant event.
