It was an absolute honour to photograph the recent Wilson Architects 140 Years in Practice Celebration and book launch.
140 years in practice makes Wilson Architects the oldest continuously running architectural practice in Australia - a momentous milestone that I had the pleasure of capturing.
Taking place in the architectural award winning STEAM Precinct at Brisbane Boys Grammar School, designed by the firm, this event was a visual delight to cover.
With 250 high-profile guests gathering to celebrate one of Brisbane’s most prestigious family businesses, there was no shortage of images to be taken. It was obvious the second I walked into the spectacular STEAMS Precinct that the space was begging to be photographed.
While candidly capturing the jubilant vibe of the night along with official proceedings, I had so much fun incorporating the incredible design features of the building into these shots.
