Specsavers Partners Xmas Party | Hotel X, Fortitude Valley
I’ve been photographing the Specsavers partners events for a few years now - the team are always such a delight to work with. Their 2023 Brisbane Christmas party took place at the gorgeous Iris Rooftop bar above Hotel X in Fortitude Valley; the perfect location for a relaxed sunset soiree. With yummy golden-hour light, sweeping views of the Brisbane city skyline and pretty tunes care of local duo, Hive Entertainment, this one was an absolute pleasure to photograph.
I really love photographing company Christmas celebrations. Everyone is generally relaxed and ready to unwind with the holidays in sight, which makes for awesome, fun photos to remember the event with.
When photographing a Christmas party, or any type of event, I like to capture the whole event. Always armed with two cameras my approach is the right balance of candid, fly-on-the-wall photography, group photos, the event design elements and the vibe on the day.
